BMI Researcher Wins a Prestigious Research Grant

Dr. Ram Fishman, a BMI researcher, has just won a $100,000 grant from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for his research “Climatic and Economic Drivers of Suicides in Rural India”. The seed funding for this research was provided by BMI.


BMI Fellow Wins the First Research Scholarship by the New Shmeltzer Institute

Gil Barnea, BMI Fellow and PhD student at the department of Public Policy, had just won the first research scholarship given by the new Shmeltzer Institute for Smart Transportation at the faculty of Engineering. The scholarship was awarded to Gil at the inauguration of the Shmeltzer Institute.
